This book offers an excellent overview of many aspects of psych assessment. It was very helpful in reviewing for quals- but watch out! There are several errors in this book! The specificity of a test is incorrectly explained, as is MMPI-2 TRIN interpretation. Some wierd formatting inconsistencies pop up in the Rorschach section... I don't recommend this book for 1st year grad students who are learning this material for the first time because they won't catch the errors and may learn things incorrectly.By psygrl
This book was required...Very dry reading....boring print....but, it got the job done! Good reference book to add your library (in case you forget what assessment is used for what purpose) and it also has the needed point scales with descriptions. This is a Master's Level Clinician book!By Shantana
