I bought this book for an upper level college-level toxicology course that I took. It's a pretty small book compared to the other science books that I have purchased, however, it has a good amount of material in it and it's a pretty easy textbook to read and follow/study from — the contents are organized extremely well. I didn't have much of a problem with this textbook, but that could be due to the subject not being AS difficult in comparison to some of the other sciences classes I took in chemistry. Overall, it's a good introductory textbook to the field of toxicology/pharmacology.By EastCoast Guy

Purchased for a basic toxicology class in which the professor explained little. I turned to the textbook the first week and found that it uses many terms that I was not familiar with... not what I expected for a "essentials book". Not recommended for a non-tox major.By Steve O
