It is a great textbook for students who wish to become nurse practitioners, as it gives an excellent foundation for Nursing Theory. There are many application examples of theory-to-practice in the text. Because most chapters have a different author, the reading level tends to be inconsistent, and that could be a problem for some readers.By B. fineman
