Margo McCaffery and Chris Pasero, the pain management "gurus" have outdone themselves. If you are a health care provider and deal with patients with chronic pain or work in end of life care (palliative care or hospice) you MUST have this resource and you can literally put all the other texts on this subject placed in the back of the bookshelf. All material can be reproduced for teaching or making up your own resource manuals. Kudos and thanks to them.By Jane D, Andersen
These two experts on pain managemnt have produced another classic. The art and science of pain management fills the pages. Guidelines are evidenced based. The discussion of drug addiction explored the myths and facts that all nurses face daily. It made me explore my own biases !By LJC
