A good basic guide for exercise testing. I had looked at an older edition in our medical library but wanted the most recent version assuming the new would build on the old. Unfortunately this edition has less detailed physiology information than previous versions. I was hoping for more data and normative values, instead I get "how to" information that isn't practical day-to-day.
Good to have in an exercise lab, but not useful as a reference.
I'll have to find a good exercise physiology reference/text for my needs.
Look before you leap, it might not be what you expect.

The information in this book is evidence based and the writing is easy to read and to understand. here are many tables that make it easy to understand or compare information. One thing I really like about this book is that it gives exercise prescription for many different types of population and for people with different comorbidities. It's a good reference book if you want to get the best and latest info on how to best prescribe exercise for your patients, clients of just for you own personal knowledge.
