I bought this book after purchasing the second edition. I thought it would have updated essays, CVs, and interview questions. Basically, the authors took all the APPI examples used in the second edition and placed them in the 3rd edition. Although the essay topics have not changed since the 2nd edition, I expected a "new edition" to have new content. This just seems like a money-making scam. Plus, most of the "new" information in this book is on the APPI website, or on other sites. I seriously can't believe they are trying to sell this to doctoral students. Save your money and buy the old version.By BAW
